Protect your hire car
Actually, what are you being protected from ?
Your rental agreement usually includes insurance in case of damage and/or theft to your rental car :
In the event of a claim, you have to pay a very high deductible.
The rental company will offer you protection to reduce to reduce it.
But this is very expensive and excludes frequent claims.
The SereniPack daily is an excess buy-back insurance.
It reimburses you for the excess charged by the rental company in the event of theft or damage to the car.
In concrete terms, we protect you better and cheaper than the rental company’s protection.
For which situations am I covered ?
We cover the excess whether you are at fault or not, and with or without identified third parties.
But there are some conditions…
This guarantee covers you for the excess up to the amount indicated after :
• Damage to the entire bodywork (scratches, dents, etc.)
• An attempted or actual theft
• Fire or explosion
Even if the hirer’s excess does not automatically include them, you are covered for :
• Damage to the roof and/or the underbody
• Glass breakage
• Damage to wheels (tyres, rims, hubcaps)
This guarantee covers you for towing and applicable taxi costs up to the amount stated, if not covered by the rental company.
This warranty covers the cost of cleaning the engine and fuel system up to the amount indicated.
In the event that no insured person named on the car rental contract is able to return the rental car to the rental company due to an accident or illness with hospitalisation, this guarantee will compensate you up to £330 to pay for the costs of returning the vehicle incurred by the rental company.
This guarantee will compensate the following costs up to the amount indicated :
• The cost of replacing a lost, stolen or damaged car key
• The cost of replacing locks
• Locksmith costs.
If the car is locked from the inside and you are unable to open it because you have forgotten your keys inside, we will pay up to the amount shown for you to regain access to the hire car.
The insured will be covered for loss or damage to luggage and/or personal effects due to theft or attempted theft as a result of forcible entry into the hire car.
This guarantee covers you up to the amount stated if the rental contract is cancelled following the written opinion of a qualified doctor.
To qualify for this benefit, you must:
1) The insured person is hospitalised, or unable to leave a hotel or private accommodation during the period in which the hire car was booked and paid for.
2) The rental contract is for a period of at least 5 days.

If you were wondering...
It depends on the SereniPack. With our annual SereniPack, there’s no need to have a date in mind. As soon as you buy it, you’re protected for a year. And you don’t even have to tell us if you’re renting a car! For the daily SereniPack, the only requirement is that the subscription date must be no later than the start date of your rental agreement and that it must last for at least the duration of your rental.
No it doesn’t. 🙂 Your cover allows for up to 9 additional drivers. They just need to be clearly identified as such on the rental agreement.
